Safe Kids International, the Protective Parent Organization / Family Court Critics led by Cindy Dumas has been social media shaming the judge, prosecuting attorneys and the fathers in almost all new parental kidnapping and high conflict divorce cases. They have been supporting the protective mothers without any discretion for the possibility that any or all allegations may be unsupported.

So Angie Vu, “Asia’s Sexiest DJ has been incarcerated in the Metropolitan Detention in Brooklyn, NY since November 4, 2015.  She was arrested at JFK Airport as she tried to flee with her 9-year old daughter to Vietnam. She had previously agreed to return the child to the child’s father Richard Froger in Paris, France. The father has custody of Vu’s child in Paris, France and the child was expected to be back in Paris on August 29, 2015.

On February 3, 2016, Angie Vu made a personal plea to Brooklyn Judge, Viktor Pohorelsky. France has requested the United States extradite the celebrity Angie Vu to face parental kidnapping charges. Vu in a 20-minute rambling statement claimed she was the victim of domestic violence; claimed her daughter’s biological father was wrongly granted custody; and said she was falsely accused of being a porn star.

The Vietnamese-born model has appeared in Playboy and the TV Show America’s Got Talent where she smooched with Nick Cannon.

Back to Safe Kids International. It appears that this protective parent organization has decided to not support Angie Vu since we see no evidence of this high profile case on their Facebook Public Shaming page. Like the other protective moms/family court critics (Michelle Wolferts, Maya Tsimhoni, Sandra Rucki, Kelly Rutherford) — Angie Vu is claiming to be a victim of Domestic Violence. In this case, only Rucki and Vu of this group are currently incarcerated and considered to be flight risks.

I am not sure why Safe Kids International does not appear to be support Angie Vu. It might relate to Angie Vu’s profession, lifestyle or that they may actually agree with us —  that Angie Vu is guilty of the crime of International Family Abduction.

In a four-page opinion, Family Court Judge Lisa Gorcya said she has done nothing wrong in the Tshimoni family custody case but she is withdrawing on her own volition because the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission accused her of misconduct and she wanted to avoid any appearance of impropriety.

The mother Maya Eibschitz-Tsimoni and her attorney have made repeated attempts to get the judge to recuse herself from the case. The children spent two weeks in juvenile detention, are currently with their father under Gorcya’s orders.

Editor’s Note: In teenager custody cases, what if a teenager intentionally violates a custody order by refusing their custody time with one of their parents. What power should judges have to enforce that custody time and to admonish any teenagers that do not respect the court and the court’s custody order? And does this change if one of the parents might be alienating that child or children against the other spouse?

We respect what Judge Lisa Gorcya did by sending the disrespectful children to Juvenile Detention. We hope the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission would not punish Judge Gorcya for doing so. We believe what she did was the right thing to do in this case. As far as the mom and her attorney, they reported the Judge to the Commission to get a different forum on judge. If that tactic works, that certainly is a tactic that will be used again and again. Good luck with that.

Judge Lisa Gorcya on Parental Alienation

December 18, 2015

Judge Lisa Gorcya spoke out about Parental Alienation in the case of Omer and Maya Tsimhoni and their three children. The mother is accused of alienating the kids against their father. This case made national news when Judge Gorcya sent the kids to a Juvenile Detention Facility. The mother lost custody of the children and her visitation suspended. The judge also ordered gag orders in the case.

The mom and her supporters have tried to get the judge to recuse herself from the case and have filed complaints against her.

Editor’s Note: If you view the video, these children and their mother clearly have a disrespect for both the Judge and the Court System (like the Rucki Girls and Sandra Rucki). If you read the complaint, the children refused to have lunch with their father at the courthouse lunch room. Most kids today would have done that. The mother and her attorney would clearly like the judge removed from the case. That said, the mother has not seen the kids in over 2 months while the father is in reunification therapy with the children. Despite the negative press the judge is getting, we believe that Judge Lisa Gorcya cares about these kids and genuinely did everything possible to reunify the children with their father.

We respect what Judge Lisa Gorcya did and applaud her efforts in the Tsimhoni case. She may have engaged in some judicial puffery in her court room speak, but in our opinion, these kids deserved it. These kids should should have respected the judge and her court order. We hope that the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission will not take any action against Judge Lisa Gorcya. Our Judicial System needs more judges like her.

Finally, this case started in 2008 when Maya Tsimhoni, now a pediatric eye doctor and glaucoma researcher at the University of Michigan fled Israel in an International Family Abduction. The family had previously lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The father returned home in Israel and found that his wife had kidnapped the children to the United States. The judge ruled to not return the father to Israel in the case. The father is a traffic safety researcher and General Motors engineer.
