Wow, Samantha and Gianna Rucki girls were found at White Horse Ranch 160 miles from the Twin Cities in Minnesota! A search of Dede Evavold‘s home in St. Cloud, Minnesota, a supporter of the “protective parent” movement led to the search at White Horse Ranch. The founder of White Horse Ranch is Gina Dahlen who lives on the ranch with her husband Doug.
Editor’s Note: On behalf of the Family Abduction Community, we are elated that the Rucki girls are finally found. Their father and the Rucki siblings rightfully deserve to be re-unified with their sisters. We are hopeful that the Rucki girls will be mature in working with the reunification therapists.
We are also happy to see that Sandra Rucki’s controversial attorney Michelle MacDonald is genuine in wanting the girls to be reunified with their father, brothers and sisters.
We hope that the Minnesota District Attorney seriously considers prosecuting those that aided and abetted in this Family Abduction as part of the “protective parent” movement. If Sandra Rucki and Mary MacDonald felt the girls should be sent to a facility like the White Horse Ranch, then Ms. MacDonald should have used the legal system to facilitate that. Supporting a Teenage Family Abduction was not the solution to this issue.
Finally, with the Internet and Social Media, we have been concerned at what kind of life underground or in hiding it would have been for two teenagers. We are happy that the girls were not physically harmed and hope they can soon return to high school.
