Dara Lorens could get up to 99 Years in Prison for Parental Kidnapping

Dara Llorens

The judge in the case against Dara Llorens said she wants the case to go to trial by August or September. Llorens is accused of kidnapping her then 4-year-old daughter Sabrina Allen in 2002.

Prosecutors say Llorens picked Sabrina up during a scheduled visit and took off to Mexico. The two were located in the country last year, 10 years after Allen went missing. Llorens is charged with aggravated kidnapping and interference with child custody.

  1. Franco says:

In this case, the daughter has recently started to accept the fact that the 12 years she lived with her mother away from her father was based on lies. I can only imagine how much more difficult it would have been for her to accept this reality had she gone undetected for another year or more (as several other recent cases have illustrated)…

  2. Any way you slice or dice it it’s disgusting the way Sabrina was treated in her mother’s “care.”

  3. Neha says:

why would she face 99 years behind bars? Parental abduction is only 3 years max.
